Hey guys, so today I wanted to share with you a shampoo that I have been using for the last few months, to express my thoughts and whether I think that it’s worth your money!
Here we have the TIGI Urban Antidotes Level 0 Reboot Shampoo | £12 | which is specifically designed to help remove debris build up the hair, and helps to moisturise against dryness. I have been using this for the last few months at the recommendation of my hairdresser, as I began to notice that my scalp was becoming extremely dry and flaky, which is not what you really want to happen! So I started trying this out, and I have to say that I do love it, and may potentially repurchase it, if I can’t find anything better that is cruelty free.
I’ve found that the best way for me to use this is to clean my hair with another shampoo first, and then leave this in for a few minutes to *do its magic* before rinsing it off and conditioning. Doing it this way means that it doesn’t also have to do the job of cleaning my hair, although it does obviously do that on its own as well! This has definitely helped to stop my scalp from flaking, which is a great feeling, and soon enough I think I will have finished the whole bottle.
In terms of preventing dryness, I wouldn’t say that it’s the most moisturising shampoo I’ve ever tried, but then again that isn’t what I bought this for in the first place, so that doesn’t bother me too much as I can just use conditioner if I feel like my hair needs it!
Once I’ve finally finished this I really want to try out the Superdrug Trichology Revitalising Scalp Shampoo // £4 // as it seems like it would be a dupe for this, and is a third of the price, AND CRUELTY FREE! If the Superdrug one compares then I will most likely be switching to it, not because the TIGI one is bad, but only because I’m trying to buy only cruelty free products, which it is not!
I hope you enjoyed this review, and that some of you found it helpful!
As always,
Love, Emily x
