Hey guys! Here with another review for you, this time it’s about the infamous Moroccanoil serum that has been talked about for years and years. I’ve been using it for over 6 months now, so if you’ve ever seen it and thought ‘I’m not sure about that’, hopefully this will help you out!
The very first time I tried this, I was amazed with how soft it made my hair feel, and couldn’t believe that my very dry ends felt like they were young again! Anyway, after continuous months of using this, I can say that it definitely does work, and that it absorbs nicely into the hair. However, sometimes it can sort of leave a streak of oil that doesn’t want to disperse or soak into my hair, and this usually happens when I apply it wet, so it’s probably best to apply it when your hair is halfway dry for it to absorb best. Applying it on dry hair is definitely when you’ll notice the biggest difference!
Now, let’s look at the price point. On Feelunique right now it retails for £32.85, which is extremely pricey, especially if you are someone who washes your hair everyday, I can tell that this will not last you very long, and will probably not be good for your bank account! For others like me who wash their hair 2-3 times a week I would say it would last maybe a couple of months, depending on how thick your hair is, and if you use it continuously.
Therefore I’d say if you’re willing to spend that amount of money then go for it, but if not I’m sure there are millions of other oils that will do the same job for a cheaper price! Although, on Feelunique there are two other options, one where you get 25ml free, so 125ml instead of the typical 100ml, or one where you get the 125ml bottle and a 75ml treatment mask, which is the option I went for as it was most cost effective, seeing as they all retail for the same price, £32.85 per option.
Overall I enjoy this product, but purchase at your own will! Have you tried Moroccanoil already? Tell me your thoughts in the comments!
Love, Emily x
