Hey guys, another empties post today! I know these kinds of posts are either loved or hated, but sometimes if I see something I’ve been interested in for a while it’s good to get the opinion from someone who has used up the product entirely, instead of just trying it a few times! So let’s get into it…
First up is this conditioner, which is designed for fine hair, but even with me having thick ass hair it doesn’t really matter to me what they’re designed for. It is quite a thick product, and I didn’t think that it did much in particular, or was any better than anything else I’ve ever tried. Being so thick the packaging makes it quite hard to get it out sometimes, and so this is a bit of a nuisance when you’re nearing the end as well. Personally I don’t think I’ll buy this again, but maybe it does work better for those with fine hair and I should just stay in my line!
There isn’t anything special about this spray and I didn’t notice it doing anything to my skin either, so I won’t be repurchasing as I’ve already settled on my Mario Badescu one which I’ve reviewed here. It was more of an experimental purchase for this one!
I did enjoy this toner, I do think it brightened my skin after using it. I would seriously consider repurchasing this, but first I want to test out The Ordinary’s Glycolic toner to see if they’re comparable, as others have said they’re very similar. If it ends being the same as the Pixi toner then I’ll probably go for that instead due to the huge price difference, and I love saving money so it would be a win-win.
I enjoyed this product too! For now I don’t think I will buy another one as I have an abundance of creams to try and use before I consider buying any more moisturisers! If I do buy it again it will probably be around winter time when my skin starts to get drier again.
I enjoyed this lotion, and the tea tree scent is very calming. It was not potent enough to put you off using it and felt really soft once on the skin. Whilst I thoroughly enjoyed it, I am not sure if I would buy it again, as I couldn’t see a difference in my skin that could be completely attributed to it. However it might have done more if I had used it every night religiously, but I am horrible at keeping routines!
This is a nice conditioner, I have used a full sized one before and liked it, but I mostly end up using this because I knew it wouldn’t take too long to get through, and because I realised I had no other conditioners at the time! Depending on if I find any better conditioners, I would consider buying this again, as I also enjoy the shampoo from this line as well.
The Body Shop Rainforest Moisture Hair Butter (discontinued)
I will not be repurchasing this, ever. It isn’t awful, but for a hair mask it barely did anything, and I saw no difference in the softness of my hair after using this. If anything it feels more drying that moisturising, so overall this is the most disappointing product I have tried in a while. Maybe it works for people who don’t have really dry hair like me, but sadly for me it was a bust!
I realise that a lot of the stuff I’ve used are Body Shop products! What can I say, I love their ethics and they have great products apart from the occasional dud. Have you tried any of these and felt the same as me?
